Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service (GMFRS) has issued a statement into the incident.

A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At approximately 12.45pm on Monday, 13th September, firefighters were called to reports of a fire on Turner Street, in Oldham.

“Four fire engines from Oldham, Hollins, Chadderton and Mossley fire stations, along with the Turntable Ladder from Manchester Central fire station, arrived quickly at the scene.

“The fire involves the roof space of three properties.

“Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus are using three hose reels, two extension ladders and other specialist equipment to extinguish the fire. Firefighters remain at the scene at this time.”
